Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive Istanbul
Arrive Istanbul. Meet and transfer to hotel. Afternoon we
proceed for city tour including Blue Mosque (17th century
marvel of Ottoman architechture famous for its blue tiles
and 6 minarets), Hippodrome (romans held chariot races here
and its adorned with the Egyptian obelisk), Hagia Sophia (6th
century Byzantine church of holy wisdom, later converted to
a mosque and now a showcase of Byzantine and Ottoman styles),
Topkapi Palace (Ottoman sultans seat for many centuries, extensive
collection) and Grand bazaar (a maze of 4,000 shops selling
antiques, carpets, gold....) lunch will be taken at the Topkapi
Palace Konyali restaurant and then we return to hotel. Dinner
and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 Istanbul Canakkale - Assos
After breakfast, we proceed to Canakkale famous for the WW1
Battles, a brief look at the Anzac memorials, crossing the
Dardanelles by ferry and visit the ancient city of Troy and
the famous Wooden Horse of Troy, lunch, depart for Assos,
a quaint Aegean resort. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 Assos Canakkale Pergamon Izmir
Kusadasi
After breakfast at hotel. We continue our journey to Bergama,
visit the Acropolis at Pergamon, founded by a general of Alexander
the great and wonder at the breathtaking amphitheater. Lunch
and we proceed towards Izmir, Turkeys largest export harbor
and 3rd biggest city, panoramic tour and continue to Kusadasi,
a cruise liner port on the Aegean sea. Dinner and overnight
at hotel in Kusadasi.
Day 4 Kusadasi - Pamukkale
After breakfast, discover this culturally rich area. Visit
the house of Virgin Mary, where its believed she spent her
last years at the ancient city of Ephesus, Roman Ionian capital
and largest archeological site in Turkey, attractions include
the 25000 seat capacity amphitheater, Celsus Library, Baths,
Odean, Temple of Hadrian. Lunch wil be taken in nearby Selcuk,
we continue to Pamukkale, visit the thermal springs and the
ancient city of Hierapolis, regarded as a holy city in the
ancient times, people flocked here for their last days and
there is a very large Necropolis with tombs reflecting the
syles of various people of asia minor. Pamukkale is famous
for its calcium-rich thermal water cascades forming unique
white terraces with small basins in them. The Turkish name
of Pamukkale translates as the cotton castle. Dinner and overnight
at hotel.
Day 5 Cairo Tour of the Pyramids, Sphinx,
Cairo Bazaar& Egyptian Museum
Optional Sound & Light show at the Great Pyramids of Giza!
After breakfast, depart on your tour of the Pyramids and the
Sphinx, where you will see the only survivors among the 7
wonders of the ancient world. We then visit the perfume factory
and tour The Citadel, which houses a number of important monuments
including the famous Mohammed Ali Mosque. Later we take you
to the Khan El Khalili Bazaar, a famous Cairo Bazaar dating
back to the 14th Century. Later, visit the Egyptian Museum,
which contains the worlds richest collection of Pharoanic
antiquities including the world famous treasure of Tutankhamon.
Evening, return to Hotel .
Day 6 Nile Cruise Luxor
After breakfast, checkout of the hotel and transfer to Cairo
Airport (Domestic Terminal) for your flight to Luxor. Arrive
Luxor, where you will be met by our local representative and
transferred to the Nile Cruise boarding center to check- into
Sherry Boat Nile Cruise by noon. Lunch onboard. After lunch,
visit Karnak and Luxor temples. Afternoon tea. Dinner &
evening entertainment onboard. This evening the ship will
be docked in Luxor. Overnight onboard Sherry Boat.
Day 7 Nile Cruise - Esna
After breakfast, Cross the West Bank to visit Thebes Necropolis,
Valley of Kings, Queens, El Deir El Bahari of Hatshepsut ,
and Clossi of Memnon facing the Nile, lunch on board. Sail
to Esna. Afternoon tea. Dinner and overnight onboard Sherry
Boat.
Day 08 Nile Cruise - Aswan
After breakfast we sail to Edfu where we visit the Temple
of Horus. Later, while we sail onwards to Kom Ombo, lunch
onboard. At Kom Ombo, visit the temple shared by two Gods
Sobek and Haroeris. Afternoon tea. Sail to Aswan. Dinner and
overnight onboard Sherry Boat.
Day 09 Nile Cruise - Aswan
After breakfast today we visit the High Dam, the Unfinished
Obelisk and the Temple of Philae. Lunch onboard. Afternoon
tea. Dinner and overnight onboard Sherry Boat.
Day 10 Disembarkation Cairo / Optional
excursion - Abu Simble
Check out after early breakfast. Transfer to Aswan Airport
for departure to Cairo or you may take an optional day excursion
to Abu Simble. Arrive Cairo, transfer and check-in to Hotel.
Overnight at hotel
Day 11 Return
Breakfast at the hotel. Day free until transfer to Cairo Airport
for your return flight home.

To undertake the tour you must be in possession of a Passport
valid for at least 6 months beyond your date of travel. You
must also ensure that your passport bears the notation Emigration
Clearance Not Required. Passport issuance, renewal & Emigration
Clearance Required Suspension charges will be applicable.
